PARIS COLIS:
a tribute to my name is Wendy

This package (colis) is a tribute to the design studio My Name Is Wendy—founded by Carole Gautier and Eugénie Favre.
The concept is based on an interview in which they were asked about their work essentials. Their answer included:
“Carnets, stylos, livres, logiciels, appareil photo, scanner, machine à café… tout ce qui permet de tracer des lignes, de dessiner des formes, d’élaborer des traces, de construire des lettres, de commencer un récit, de commettre des nuances.”
I was particularly inspired by the phrase “tracer des lignes” (to draw lines) and by their way of working from various locations.
As a tribute, I created a picnic basket designed around the theme of a cutting mat. It includes a cutting mat-inspired blanket, a flag also based on cutting mat aesthetics, a notebook and a magazine that ties the concept together.
This project was created as part of a second-year assignment at LUCA School of Arts.
